8 Danes are currently inhabiting Kabeta, and we are taking part in daily life and enjoying the company of the locals and each other. Thea, Lauge, and I have been here since Sunday, and we have met many of those we will be working with over the next 2 months. Estrid, Nanna, Anna, Christian, and Jeppe are back from a safari trip to Botswana, and today all 7 have been working either at Chilalantambo Primary or Kataba Primary. Anna has a birthday today, so she was woken up with singing and breakfast at 6, so everyone could be at school by 7. The afternoon has been spent in a welcome meeting with the Kabeta Pre Schools board, staff, and the local headmen. This evening, the 5 have invited Geoffrey and family, and Mercy and family for pizza. We are looking forward to it.
